The strong rebound in tourism is being driven by a number of factors, including the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the strong euro, and the attractiveness of Greece as a tourist destination. Greece is home to a wealth of historical and cultural attractions, as well as stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters.

The Greek government is also investing heavily in tourism infrastructure and promoting Greece as a tourist destination. For example, the government is developing new airports and renovating existing ones. The government is also promoting Greece as a year-round tourist destination, not just a summer destination.

The Greek government is forecasting that tourist arrivals in Greece will reach 35 million in 2023, up from 32.6 million in 2022. This would be the highest level of tourist arrivals in Greece since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall, the outlook for Greek tourism in 2023 is very positive. The strong rebound in tourism is expected to boost the Greek economy and create jobs. The Greek government is well-positioned to continue to grow the tourism industry in the coming years by investing in tourism infrastructure, promoting Greece as a tourist destination, and making it easier for travelers to visit Greece.
